two minutes is actually nearly three. So no stress.
Hi dit is herkenbaar😅
Europe is not socialist! We have a market economy. Want socialism, go to Cuba or Venezuela
I am the person who knows where to get on so that I am at the ideal spot where the doors align with the stairs to get off of the platform at my stop. This can be the difference between catching or missing the next train.
Klote Engelstaligen in de bediening!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Expats out.
I would advise against buying that sushi, usually it's been sitting there the whole day, is dried out and has lost most of it's taste.
Whahaha, amsterdam is an amusement park for tourists especially the centre. The people who live in amsterdam do not like the centre anymore they visit other parts of amsterdam were you have the wright vibes.
Yes that's the way we are
Random churches? That's like me coming to Bali and saying, look at all these random temples.
Isn't the verb cycling. But yeah, even if it's just a block away, we're not walking, rain or not.
Funny story I was stopped in TSA at Schiphol because of De Ruijter lmao
"Nee."
I don't know about American bread specifically, but good bread shouldn't die, mold, dry out in less than a week, or longer, and you should be able to revive it with some water and a few minutes in the oven. I can't say this applies to most Dutch bread, which literally rots before the veggies. There are some nice Belgian style bakeries though, and more and more youngsters entering the profession of bakers recently. Let's hope it brings us better bread than the stokbrood or than those horribly soft sandwich loaves.
Me who lives there 💀
Lack of good bike lanes in America has nothing to do with tax revenue, and everything to do with culture.
I live in the Netherlands and me and my friends literally just dancing in the rain with no jacket😂💀
The true reason why this is a bad example is because bike infrastructure is one of the cheapest kinds of infrastructure. And shut up about road tax being proportionate, every government can balance how they raise overall tax and don't have to spend all road tax on road infrastructure or limit the road budget to the money raised from road tax.
Hallo allemaal 😂
Incredibly annoying when people do that. It's not a meal... Personally I never do that, I don't see a reason to bother people just because they're having a snack.
The one who don't know the Dutch Railway system, when he lost a train: In how much hours start the next train?
Everyone moving out bc of taxation 😹😹😹
Not most of the comments romanticising the toxic relationship💀
Ik werk parttime bij Thuisbezorgd en de fietspaden zijn over het algemeen goed in de stad. Als je buiten de stad komt, zitten hier en daar gaten of scheuren die niet altijd met die zwarte smurrie zijn gedicht.
you have good self reflection and good awereness of your surroundings. i hope you do well on yt.
not being able to order in Dutch while being in the Netherlands is really irritating.
Utrecht?
doe normaal
Biking IS easy, as long as you keep pedalling. We do it our whole lives, so you just need some time to get used to when it's a bit busy 😂
In the olden days, property tax was being calculated based on the width of the building. Hence the narrow stair case as it was considered waste of money to make them wider, as it would mean would mean more property taxes.
The only shocking thing about this video is your belief that it would be shocking.
Jouw Nederlands accent is echt super. 👍
The problem is that it's often also very windy so you have to hold your umbrella in different directions and still get wet.
I really hate that when i go to the big cities, luckily here in the North everyone still speaks Dutch
In the south they also use a lot of English, even at grocery stores and other stores
Sad but true, even in other cities like Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht this is becoming the norm.
Not just there also in Brabant and Limburg, also noticed it in Gelderland
Im am totally intimidated by those bike- opon- bike stalls. I avoid using them at all times.
Havermelk altijd!
You are in the wrong shop dear. 😂 Americans and their megasupemarkets and malls ever heard of a bakkerij, slagerij, kaasboer?
Sleeping with your windows open is important for your quality of sleep. Not enough oxygen for 2 people in a small bedroom. Also: it has nothing to do with heating your house, at night you dont have heating on. The thermostat of the central heating is usually in the living room, so it wont turn on from fresh air in the bedroom. For cold weather we have pyjama's and bedsheets 😅
About the tea: its not about the money. But they just seem to not actually like tea. Its to strong.. i cringe when people ' bless the water' with a tea bag. Just let it sit.
It also depends if your fiets has a bochel in the wiel 😅 then biking without the hands is a no no!
I am Dutch and no way I share my teabag, or use it more than once and don't know any other familymembers or friends that share like that :o And yes fries or pancakes for diner, yammie. You need to open your window at least 15 minutes a day, summer and winter to clean the air :o
"Nee." 😂
Same, I'm made of sugar
Funny!
Come on chicken satay and egg or tuna Salads are great
Je Nederlands is erg goed, en ik zou ook nee zeggen 😁
Lekker vers broodje
the no. at the end hahaha
Fun fact, drizzle makes you drenched quicker by volume then actual rain... Your welcome
